Bosch India’s Security Technology business unit has recently expanded its product portfolio to offer its customers tailored solutions. “The Indian Security market has matured greatly from what it was a decade ago. There has been a surge in the need for improved security solutions. This coupled along with the intention to become smart is an entry point for technology forward companies like Bosch to take advantage of,” said, Mr. Sudhir Tiku, head – South Asia, Bosch Security Systems.
The business unit has been successful in localizing products such as amplifiers, speakers and conference systems. Key products also include an entry-level conference system. Other highlights of localisation include the robust and easy to use amplifier, and affordable speakers for the public address domain. A major achievement in reaching some of the goals associated with the ‘Make in India’ campaign has been the business division’s entry into the SAARC region last year with products that have been made in India.
