Tata Sky is India’s leading direct broadcast satellite television provider and content distribution platform. The Canvas designed the Tata Sky office to reflect its core values of leadership, enthusiasm, innovation, decisiveness, agility, teamwork and integrity.

The facility features a bold move in breaking the barriers of cabins and cubicles, thus resulting in a complete open office architecture with no fixed desk for any employee. Hot-desking encourages people to move around the office and, hence, collaborate with more people.

It has a vibrant and welcoming reception, with a home-styled backdrop of a TV cabinet featuring a household airing Tata Sky. There are multipurpose rooms which switch quickly between meeting room and training room, courtesy the adaptable furniture. It allows employees to sit in any given corner at any point of the day and execute their tasks using a mix of seating pods, nests, linear workstations, collaborative seats and high desks.

A lot of collaborative spaces are used in the office to generate different ideas amongst the employees. There’s a hierarchy of spaces with respect to the degree of intimacy - ranging from private, semi-private to collaborative. Open planning with some vibrant fun furniture is used for proper functionality and innovative design.

The colours used in the furnishings and material make a very friendly environment where people feel like working with a fresh mind. The matte black ceiling enhances the space, giving it a special character with the hexagonal lights enhancing it. Overall, the office is designed based on the tag line of Tata Sky, to have a refreshing experience and a fun time.
